Provisional Procedure

• Challenger Division WILL have provisionals available.  Provisionals/Starts page is in menu above.

• The number of provisionals available will depend on the number of races attended.  Drivers NOT in the top 45 in 2003 Challenger standings will not have provisionals until after race four (4).  Drivers who WERE in the Top 45 will have four (4) provisionals at the start of the season.  Every driver will earn an additional provisional for every sixth (6) race attempted.

• A substitute driver IS allowed ONE TIME ONLY.                   Substitution Procedure:  A)  The Driver must be a ACTIVE STRL member for more than 3 weeks.  B)  I must be notified of this BEFORE practice starts for the race via EMAIL or private message (FORUM) from BOTH the driver and the sub for the substitution to be allowed.  C) All penalties, points, etc will go to the original driver.  This WILL count as a provisional. 

• Provisionals will be automatic if you miss a race, no need to contact the division admin.  If you miss and do not want to be charged for a provisional, you DO have to contact me before the race starts. 

• A Provisional will be equal to the next position after the last place driver that was in the race.  All drivers will receive the same amount of points in each race for a provisional.

• If a race is rained out, a provisional will not be charged to ANY driver.

• Provisionals can NOT be used if you are forced to miss a race due to LPIP issues.

• NOTE:  The provisionals number in the standings IS NOT a reflection of how many provisionals a driver has used.  For a more accurate number, look on the provisional/starts page.
