Notes: Richmond is a short track that has many speedway
characteristics. The layout of the track allows for some great
racing. The turn 2 wall comes up really fast and usually grabs a
couple of cars per race. Keep an eye out for that pit road wall as
you make your pitstops.

Michael Sharp won the pole in his first STRL Challenger
race. Horace Brooks was second. 17 cars spent most of the
race under green because the race had only 5 cautions in the 125 lap
event.
Jesse Patrick
battles Sharp in the middle stages of the race. Patrick made his
5th start of the season and went on to get his first Top 5 by finishing
fourth.
Points leader Jeremy Wiedeman had a good car, but turn
four got him twice. The second time was much more serious.
Bean and Jim Plowman made evasive moves to avoid the incident.
Plowman gets loose
off turn 2 on the final restart. He did a wonderful job to save
the car and go on to finish 5th.
Guy Seela thought he
had a second place finish. After post race inspection, the #300
car of Sharp was found illegal and Seela was awarded the win.
For the second week in a row, Horace Brooks was a close second.
