In 2004, STRL will use the IROC mod from Project Wildfire.

Race Details

Select Tuesday Nights (Alternating Tues)

Fixed "IROC" Setup  for the 4 IROC mod Tracks

Fixed "Expert" Setup for the non-IROC mod Tracks

Practice: 8:15pm EST

Modified Qualify: 8:45pm EST

Happy Hour: 5 min.

Race: 9:00pm EST

Length:  20% race

Weather:  Fixed; 70 deg, clear, no wind

Provisional System Used

No Sessions; just one Overall IROC Champion

The 20% IROC race will be followed by Cup practice on another server for Cup Races

later in week.  Details will be made known on that date.

Car Files

IROC Car Files: All IROC car files will be provided by the IROC Division Admin. It will be random car number and color.  The car will stay consistent for a driver throughout the entire year.  The car number cannot be changed, as it will result in scoring conflicts.

Points System

 IROC Points System: IROC Division will follow the real IROC points system (matrix below). In addition, 5 bonus points are awarded to the driver who leads the most laps in each race, 3 bonus points are awarded to the driver who leads the second greatest number of laps, and 2 bonus points are awarded to the driver who leads the third greatest number of laps. In case of a tie, the driver with the highest finishing position in that race receives the bonus.

Note: 30th place and further back will receive 1 point each

Provisionals

There will be provisionals given equalling points which the driver would have received if they

had attended and received last place points. (e.g. If 18 cars started race,then the provisional

 is worth 19th place)

Provisionals are automatic during the entire season.
