The 2008 All-Star Challenge

• ALL STRL Rules apply
• Track will be 2008 Lowes Night All Star
• All races are OPEN setup, Damage set to REALISTIC
• Weather is outlined below
• Qualifying will be set by the race director according to stated rules (qualifying or finishing position)
• If a driver flames, he loses his spot
• If there is an incident caused by a driver in the Qualifier, the incident will be reviewed, and a ruling will be made as to the member's ability to race.
• If a member has won a ROAD RUNNER REGULAR SEASON POINTS race in 2007 (AFTER The 2007 All Star Challenge) OR in 2008 (BEFORE The All Star Challenge), that member is automatically entered into the Tribute Cup All-Star Race.  Check HERE for eligibility page.
• Past Winston/Challenge winners will have a spot reserved.
• This event will allow special paint schemes that do not count against your STRL League allowance.  Send them in ASAP but before 11PM EST, Tuesday, May 20th.

The All-Star Challenge Qualifying - May 19th-20th

Will set the starting order for segment 1 of the ASC

Gates Open at 8:30pm EST
Practice: 30 minutes
Normal Qualify Session
NO Warmup Session

The All-Star Challenge - Wed, May 21th

Segment 1
Race Times: ~10:15pm EST
Race Length: 40 laps
Practice: 9:50 pm (15 minutes)
Weather: Is going to be set to the Real All Star Race on Saturday Night!!!
NO Qualify Session
(Cars will line up according to THESE RULES)
5 minute Warmup Session
Yellows: ON
** Green Flag 4 tire change Pit Stop Required **
(Pit stop anytime between lap 5 and lap 30)
 

Segment 2
Race Times: ~11:00pm EST
Race Length: 20 laps
Weather: Is going to be set to the Real All Star Race on Saturday Night!!!
(Gates open at conclusion of Session 1)
Practice: 5 minutes
NO Qualify Session

5 minute Warmup Session

 Race Length: 20 laps
