Dover, De. – For the second week in a row Keith Mclain won the race, but this time he had to work a little harder for it. Mclain who started in second ran his race and made his move at the right time to take the cherckers at Dover. Jeremy Weideman  won the pole  with a lap of 22.046 seconds. Weideman looked to have a strong car as he jumped out front and stayed there longer than anyone else leading a total of 84 laps. A late mistake coming off pit road doomed his efforts though. Jeff Sykes who had to take a provisional start and started in 20th worked his way up through  the field and took the lead on lap 100. Sykes would stay in the lead for 63 laps. Sykes though did not keep up with the adjustments on his car and that allowed Keith Mclain to get bye him. After Weideman and Sykes had their troubles no one was left to challeneg Mclain as he held off the Hoprace Brooks and Sykes after a late race yellow would setup a dfash to the finish. Mclain now leads the chase standings  by 115 points over Danny Sanchez and the overall standings by 309 points over defending champion Horace Brooks. The league heads out to the midwest to run at Kansas Speedway next week.

The green flag flies and Weideman gets the early edge going into turn 1. Weideman would lead a race high 84 laps.

#6 Dana Webster leads a hungry pack of drivers off of turn 2 and down the back straight.

This late race wreck involving the #27 of Michael Jefferies would setup a sprint to the checkers.

#22 Keith Mclain holds off #4 Jeff Sykes and #28 Horace Brooks to victory win number 2 in the Chase.
